Councils and digital solutions providers upload care apps and local digital innovations to Public Service Digital Exchange

Councils, developers and other digital innovators are uploading details of ‘care apps’ and their local digital innovations (LDIs) to a new, free-to-access online platform gaining exposure and sharing to succeed in the process.

Public Service Digital Exchange (PSDeXchange) is a free to access platform for showcasing digital innovation by and for public services. Owners and developers of digital innovations can upload details in two categories, ‘Care Apps’ and ‘Local Digital Innovations’ (LDIs)

The Care Apps showcase is supporting the ADASS Care Apps conference and showcase 7 March 2017 in Birmingham. Products uploaded to PSD eXchange will also be considered for inclusion in the live showcase on 7 March and will be entered for the PSD eXchange Local Digital Innovation  Awards

The Local Digital Innovations showcase is linked with Socitm’s Better Connected programme which tracks and analyses digital performance in local authorities and other local public services.

LDIs are also indexed on the Better Connected website and the project named and linked from the relevant local authority page (every UK local authority has its own page on the Better Connected site).

Both public and private sector organisations can upload completed projects and work in progress to PSD eXchange free of charge
